It isn't at all a treatise against them. The title is odd, given that. I suppose the title has put me off. I love my book clubs. I get far more intelligent conversation and often detailed textual argument there than anywhere else. But your comments offer a much wider perspective on the book than just the title. I'll keep my eyes open in the charity shops for a copy, I think.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
