They got their wings tonight.
Some of them got crowns and halos and a few other odds and ends to finish them off.
They're still really spooky.
I didn't intend to use butterfly wings, as they're a bit hackneyed these days. But these actually looked okay. The one below has wings of bubble-wrap.

So interesting, I want to examine them all minutely!
I think I may like slightly scary angels better than oh-so-cute angels... angels should have an air of force and judgment, an unpolished patina to reflect wisdom and resolve. I want to feel I must earn their respect, not simply have them flitting about in shiny get-ups with botox faces.
They're fabulous. Truly fabulous.
