Fingers crossed...
We're having a spell of Santa Ana weather this week, with temperatures pushed upwards by these big north-easterlies that blow in from the desert. I can't help thinking about the horrors of this time last year, and hoping no-one will have to go through any of that again.

I hear you loud and clear. There are enough sparks flying in the economy, we don't need to add open flames to our anxieties. I hope you escape the heat on your eastward excursion, and if you make it to Madrid, NM, I hope it's as wonderful as I remember.
Oh that would be awful. Here's hoping nothing eventuates.
